Time Out is a coming of age family drama centered around brothers, Gaurav, fourteen years old and school basketball captain Mihir, seventeen years old. Gaurav follows Mihir’s every move, whether it is playing basketball like him, going on crazy nights out with his friends or admiring Mihir’s charm with the girls. To impress his heart-throb, Gaurav lands up participating in an inter school competition and along the way discovers his own identity. This is a story full of life, excitement and the craziness of young love, but there is also anger, fights and confusion as Gaurav finds out that his role model Mihir is gay. Gaurav battles his own confusion and societal prejudices to realize that family and love overpower all.
