Roshni a survivor of an earthquake, but orphaned, is brought back to her Uncle’s village in Rajasthan. The villagers and elders are shocked to see her as she is the first girl child there in decades. Roshni is shunned by everyone but sets about winning the hearts of all the villagers. And in this she is helped by Budhiram, a young boy who is born disabled.
